The Puget Sound's next innovation hub is ready for take-off in the city of Kenmore. The City is encouraging technology, life sciences/natural health and other start-up companies to join the Kenmore business community. This business cluster is fostered by the presence of Bastyr University, a leader in natural health education and research, and the city's largest employer; along with the city's proximity to University of Washington Bothell campus and major technology companies.
To support an innovative community spirit and foster the success of start-up entrepreneurs, the City has created a Business Incubator Program. The program provides low-cost office space, mentorship, and business development support, and connects business professionals to networking events, workshops and seminars. The Kenmore Business Incubator is housed in 3,000 square feet of office space in downtown Kenmore.
Established business veterans will meet with individual business owners on a routine basis to share best practices and offer advice. Participants will benefit from the entrepreneurial environment and the low operating cost for assigned work space.
