This program is designed to increase the understanding between citizens and Law Enforcement.  It is our hope that by the completion of the Academy (10 weeks), citizens will gain a better understanding of the police, the criminal justice system and the challenges facing law enforcement in today’s society. The Kenmore Police Department will be barbequing hamburgers and hotdogs for our citizens. Information will be available on block watches, house checks, personal safety, fingerprinting and ID cards for kids, bicycle registration cards and home fire prevention. FREE!

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

HO! HO! HO! Sleigh your way to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Enjoy the beautiful voices of our local choirs while having your child’s photo taken with Santa Claus, making your favorite holiday arts & crafts project and enjoying cookies with a hot beverage. Help count down the lighting of the tree with Santa Claus at 6:05 p.m. FREE!
