The Comprehensive Plan is a policy document that articulates the community’s vision of future land use and growth for the City and its neighborhoods in a manner that is internally and regionally consistent, achievable, and affordable. The Plan serves as the guide for City staff and the City Council in making decisions regarding ordinances, regulations, and public facility investments to ensure that the overall goals and policies are furthered by those decisions.
The City of Kenmore's first Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the City Council in March of 2001. A major rewrite of the Plan was completed in 2014/2015:
