We are confidant the information contained here and on associated pages will give you some preliminary information to understanding the various permit processes we have and the required forms. It is possible to obtain some single-family permits on line at mybuildingpermit.com, including mechanical, plumbing, and re-roof permits. To obtain an electrical permit you must contact the Department of Labor and Industries at 425-990-1400. Staff from the Building, Planning and Community Development, and Public Works Departments are available to assist you with specific questions about your permit applications and projects; however, it is necessary to call for an appointment for submittal of:
City Hall offices are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Building Department and Planning Department counter hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The Permit Applications and Checklists page lists the permit application forms (available to print out) to help you to begin to plan to apply for the permit you are seeking. All applications must be submitted in person at Kenmore City Hall. There are fees associated with most development permits, either calculated or a flat rate.
