Jack Crawford Day

Come join us at the annual park clean up event, Jack V. Crawford ‘Courtesy is Contagious in Kenmore’ Day, on October 22 from 9 am – 12 pm at Log Boom Park. The event is in honor of Kenmore’s first mayor and his contributions to the City. Volunteers are needed to help remove invasive plants and pick up trash. If you have them, please bring your own work gloves. Tools, drinks, and snacks will be provided. Halloween at the Hall

All treats, no tricks at the City of Kenmore's inaugural Halloween at the Hall! Wear your costume and join us on Friday, October 28 starting at 5 p.m. for several fun activities, including trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, face painting, and a photo booth. Woody and Jessie from the movie "Toy Story" will make a special appearance to read a story, take photos, and introduce their movie, “Toy Story of Terror” prior to the 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. showing on the big screen in the Council Chambers.
Fill up on delicious food from food truck vendors, The Grilled Cheese Experience and Daddy’s Donuts.
Parking is available at Kenmore City Hall and Kenmore Village.
Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

The Tree Lighting Festival is fun for the entire family! This free community event is scheduled from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Kenmore at Kenmore City Hall, Town Square, and Kenmore Camera.
Welcome Santa to Kenmore with an exciting countdown during the lighting of the tree at 5:00 p.m. and enjoy free activities throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to donate nonperishable food and stuffed animals to support local families in need this holiday season. Food and stuffed animal drop boxes will be located at all event facilities. You can also donate tree ornaments for the City Hall lobby tree.

Light Up Kenmore Home Decorating Contest
Kenmore residents are encouraged to decorate their home and enter the inaugural Holiday Home Decorating Contest. Untangle those lights, pull out the inflatables, and get decorating! Categories will include Most Creative, Judge’s Choice, and Best Neighborhood Effort. Enter here
Home must be located within Kenmore city limits.
Contest Applications are due by noon on Friday, December 9.
Judging will take place on Tuesday, December 13 after 5:00 p.m. Please make sure your lights and displays are turned on.
Decorations must be visible from a travelable street, as judges will not exit the vehicle to view decorations.
Addresses of all entered homes will be included on the Holiday Home Decorating Contest list.
Winning homes will receive a decorative yard sign displaying the award category and a mention on our Facebook page.

A day to “give back” to the community. Celebrate Earth Day by picking up litter or beautifying the common space around your neighborhood. Additional details to come.
4th of July Fireworks Show

Log Boom Park
Watch the night sky light up and have a fun-filled Fourth of July! The Kenmore Fireworks Show presented by Frank Lumber blasts off at 10 p.m. from the Log Boom Park pier (17415 61st Ave NE). Prior to the fireworks show, join in the festivities with fun activities and food vendors from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event is free and all you need to bring is a blanket or chair!
As a reminder, personal fireworks are prohibited in Kenmore city limits.

Clap your hands and stomp your feet, the Kenmore Summer Concert Series is back and you’re in for a treat! The 2016 schedule featured: Royal Jelly Jive, JP Hennessy, Laney Jones and the Spirits, LoveBomb Go-Go Marching Band, The Tillers, Napua and Friends with the Rainbow of Hawaii dancers, and Two Story Zori.
National Night Out Against Crime

Come meet your local police officers and neighbors at the annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 2 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Kenmore City Hall. The Kenmore Police Department invites you to join them for a free barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers, learn tips on home and personal safety, and enjoy other activities.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
