It takes at least ten days from the time a report is written until it is received at the records unit. If you wish to have a report sent to you, mail a written request to:
Please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope and include your case number in your request. You may also pick up a copy of your report at the King County Courthouse at the address above. Please phone four hours in advance to ensure that we have the case available and a copy ready for you. To order a report to be picked up, call the Records Unit at (206) 296-4190. If
you do not know the case number, provide as much specific information
as you can: name(s) associated with case, date/time of occurrence, location
of occurrence, nature of case (e.g., burglary, vandalism, etc.).
