| GUN PERMITS Original gun permits: Done by appointment only at the King County Sheriff's Office Precinct 2, located at 18118 73 Ave NE, Kenmore, WA. Applicants must reside in King County. Cost for an original permit is $60, which has to be in the form or check or money order, NO CASH OR CREDIT CARDS. Applicants name and address must be preprinted on the check and the check must be drawn on a Washington State Branch. Call 206-296-5020 between 8:00 and 5:00 pm to schedule an appointment. Gun Permit Renewal: Gun permits can be renewed up to 90 days prior to expiration. Renewals are done on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and again from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Fees for a renewal is $32 and must be in the form of a check or money order. NO CASH OR CREDIT CARDS. Applicants name and address must be preprinted on the check and the check must be drawn on a Washington State Branch. Late Gun Permit Renewal: Gun permits can be renewed as a late renew up to 90 days past the expiration date. Late renewals are done on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and again from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The fee for a late renewal is $42. Fee must be in the form of check or money order. NO CASH OR CREDIT CARDS. Applicants name and address must be preprinted on the check and the check must be drawn on a Washington State Bank. FINGERPRINTING Fingerprinting for various jobs, licenses etc, are done by appointment only. Applicants must provide their own fingerprint card(s), which should be supplied by the company requesting the prints. Fees for fingerprinting are as follows: $10 for one or two cards and $3 for each additional. Fee must be in the form of check or money order. NO CASH OR CREDIT CARDS. Applicants name and address need to be preprinted on the check and check must be drawn on a Washington State Branch. do not do fingerprinting for immigration purposes. Please contact Immigration
and Naturalization to get a list of authorized places for fingerprinting.
